John's completed mandolin

John’s mandolin is now complete and looking very handsome, if I do say so myself!
Visually, the Brazilian mahogany back, sides and neck, the cocobolo fretboard and bridge and thuya burl details work incredibly well, all really complementing each other nicely. It’s only been strung up for a few hours but already I’m very happy with its woody tone.  Unlike most of my “Standard” mandolins, this one has the upgrade of a rosette, which must make this one, a “Standard Custom”?  Below are some more photos for you; hope you like it.....
